An example of a scam email I have received is one where the sender is claiming to be Western Union, where they say they will send you large sums of money and you have to click a link or login to your banking. The purpose of this scam is to steal money from you. It is easily identifiable as a scam firstly due to the email address of the sender which looks like a bot email, and obviously being notified from a service or brand which you may not use or have an account with wanting to send you large sums of money.

This is insightful because I get spam emails like this all the time, now I know to check the sender’s email address!

I get these emails every day! They are so annoying!

Me too! Luckily, they mostly go to my junk folder

I wish they didn’t pretend to be such popular brands because it makes it confusing when I get these emails
ebaulc
That’s why you have to check the sender’s address!

It’s pretty easy to tell when it’s a scam when they ask for your bank account details because real banks to don’t that

That’s right, super important to know that stuff!
